I now own a red t-shirt which says "REFEREE" on it in big, white letters.
For comparative purposes, this the clip that we attempted to emulate.
It was sheer, unadultered, awesomeness and a great way to end the show!

Thanks, guys! It was a blast to rehearse and even more fun to perform for the audience. I think that they had around 150 people in the audience for the show. And they went bonkers when they figured out what was going on and when Daniel (Bob) went into the "Crane Position". People cheered as if it was really happening. One of the judges was pounding the table cheering, "Holy SHIT! Holy SHIT! Holy SHIT!" which was pretty funny.
That whole thing was conceived and organized by Mr.Bob Ladewig. And it earned him 40 pts. for it. (The highest score possible. And very rare in this particular competition.) It bumped him up from 6th place to 3rd, instantly. Which won him...uh...our respect.
You can also see in the clip that I started to giggle when Jay lost his wig. I had to look away or I would've lost it completely.
